GRIT Pics Group
GRIT Pics is a group established on Photobucket, in hopes of replacing the picture gallery maintained on the Official GRIT Page (since the OGP isn't being updated any more, as of 2006 or so). It also hopes to make the gallery easier to maintain, by allowing everybody to add their own pictures rather than relying on a single administrator/webmaster. Folks who've drawn GRIT art - whether they are players or not - are invited to create Photobcuket accounts and add pictures to the group's pool.
Group Photobucket Account
In complement to the above group, GRIT also has a group-access Photobucket account, for the purpose of posting GRIT pics from artists who don't want their own account, and/or older content pulled from the Official GRIT Page. It's currently in the process of being stocked up with images from the old site.
Usage
Rules for using the joint Photobucket account. Follow them, seriously.
- Use It Responsibly! If somebody starts screwing with it, we won't be able to share it any more.
- If you upload content, please tag it appropriately - see the existing tags for examples.
- Nothing explicit on this account. Keep it clean. To the best of our understanding, that means no genitalia and no frontal or sexual nudity.
- Keep Your Filesizes Efficient! Our uploads are limited. Shrink your images to an appropriate size for screen viewing, and use efficient file formats (almost always PNG for greyscale and JPG for colour). Fox will tweak your files if they are too fat!
- Please upload to the GRIT Pics group rather than to the "gritgroup" account's gallery.
- The username for the joint account is "gritgroup", and the password can be found on the GRIT mailing list (in a message entitled "[meta] The New GRIT Pages]").
- Please notify Fox if you want your art removed from the joint account. She is assuming that it's okay, by default, to include all content from the old GRIT page - but she will certainly remove pictures if the artist wants them gone!
